| 30-06 Springfield; 88% blue, very good+ bore, very good stock, 24'' barrel, HUSQVARNA MODEL 1640 SPECIAL CHAMBERED IN 30-06 IN GOOD CONDITION. THE BLUING ON THE BARREL HAS MODERATE WEAR ALONG WITH A 5" LONG SCRATCH. THE BLUING ON THE TRIGGER GUARD ASSEMBLY SHOWS MODERATE WEAR AND FINISH LOSS. THE MODEL 1640 SECIAL HAS A HIGHER GRADE WALNUT STOCK WITH A JEWELED BOLT. THE BORE IS MIRROR BRIGHT WITH EXCELLENT RIFLING. THE FINELY CHECKED STOCK APPEARS TO BE A HIGHTER GRADE OF WALNUT THAN THE AVERAGE MODEL 1640 STOCK AND SHOWS SOME LIGHT HANDLING MARKS ON THE LEFT BUTT. THE RECEIVER IS FITTED WITH A SUPRA 4X32 SCOPE IM CLAW MOUNTS WITH CLEAR OPTICS AND A GERMAN NO 1 RETICLE BUT FOR SOME REASON THE OCULAR LENSE IS HEAVILY WRAPPED IN YELLOW TAPE. IMPORT MARKED. |
