| 16 Gauge; poor bore, fair stock, 31.5'' barrel, Manufactured in Sweden circa 1880s. We know very little about these guns, although we have imported several from Sweden over the last few years. And know of no publications on these guns. There were variations, iron frame, brass frame, various types of finishes. Most are plain, some have had low levels of engraving, and various types of wood used for stocking up. These guns all appear to be handmade, with parts not usually interchangeable, and were evidently made to be inexpensive utility guns. This example has had most of the finish removed from the barrel, nickel plated brass frame, birchwood stock. Dark spotting and light pitting on the metal, worn nickel finish on frame, worn finish on wood. Action functions fine. Barrel has play in lockup. Antique, s/n 0601-5xx |
