| 22 S/L/LR; 95% blue, very good bore, poor stock, 20'' barrel, Manufactured between 1945 – 1949 The rifle was chambered for .22 short, long or long rifle, single shot, boys rifle. The bolt opens to load the cartridge and then you pull the rear to engage the firing mechanism. It's an interesting action. During production of the gun it was offered as a promotional for a product called; WHITE CLOVERINE SALVE. The can was white with a clover on it. The front sight is a blade and the rear sight is a V notch the metal finish has mild patina overall. The stock has numerous handling marks and has a 2.5in crack on the top of the comb at the rollover, then going down the back od the buttstock 3 inches. The action works., |
