22 S/L/LR; 65% blue, very good bore, good stock, 20'' barrel, Manufactured between 1945 – 1949 The rifle was chambered for .22 short, long or long rifle, single shot, boys rifle. The bolt opens to load the cartridge and then you pull the rear to engage the firing mechanism. It's an interesting action. During production of the gun it was offered as a promotional for a product called; WHITE CLOVERINE SALVE. The can was white with a clover on it. The front sight is a blade and the rear sight has been removed. The metal finish has scattered dark spots and mild thinning. The top of the receiver is stamped HOBAN RIFLE MOD 45 / .22 CAL S-L-LR the stock has few handling marks and has a 1.5 in crack on the left side of the buttstock at the butt. It also has 3 inch a crack on the right side, from the trigger up towards the receiver. The buttplate is broken at the toe. The action works.,
