| 12 Gauge; good bore, good stock, 29 7/8'' barrel, Manufactured in England c.1880's. Browned Damascus barrels with smooth concave ribs and silver bead sight. Csaehardened frame and lockplates aged gray with fine scrill engraving. Checkered walnut stock with plain teel buttplate. Wedged forearm. Sling swivels removed. Engraved on the sides of both locks "HARLOW / MAKER". Engraved on the bottom of the break lever on the bottom "PATENT WEDGE BOLT". 2 1/2" chambes. Muzzles thin and gauge Cylinder so likely barrels shortened at some point. Actions function fine. Barrels have quite a bit of play in lockup. Stock has a crack on the bottom between the tip of the front trigger guard and wedge plate. Two small cracks at the toe of the butt. Antique., s/n 7xx |
