| 16 Ga/8x57JR; 90% blue, fair bore, fair stock, 23 5/8'' barrel, Manufactured in Germany, dated 1958. Blue finish barrels, casehardened frame polished bright, mounted in checkered walnut. 2 3/4 inch chamber shotgun chambers with Full chokes. Beaded fixed front and flip up rear sights. Barrels fitted with double claw mounts. A Weatherby Variable 2 3/4 x 10X scope is mounted. The scope has a pointer/crossbars reticle with excellent optics. Features a boxlock action with crossbolt and top mounted cocking indicators, extractor, front set double triggers, Greener style side safety, latch release forearm, round knob grip stock with cheekrest. 14.75 inch LOP with a vented recoil pad fitted. Plastic trigger guard has a small repaired crack at the front screw. The stock has tiny cracks on each side behind the frame, the right side has a replaced section of wood behind the frame. The shotgun bores are good showing some minor pitting. The rifle bore has pitting throughout. Mechanically fine with tight lockup. C&R/FFL, s/n 367xx |
