| 14 Gauge; 80% blue, very good bore, good stock, 26'' barrel, Manufactured by Greener on a Martini type action. Many of these were sold to Egypt in the 1930's, and this example has Farsi style numbers on the right side of the barrel chamber. Marked on the left side of the frame W.W.GREENER.MAKER/PAT NO.s 9074/21 19517/21. The right side of the frame has an EG logo. The top of the barrel chamber is stamped GREENER/SPECIAL BORE. Missing the front sight bead, the upper sling swivel appears to be a replacement using a No4 Lee Enfield rifle swivel and the buttplate is brass with a trapdoor similar to an SMLE rifle. The lower sling swivel is missing. Blue finish mounted in a walnut stock. The metal finish has turned a blue/patina mix and the wood shows wear with dings and scuffs. The tip of the forend has old slivers missing near the barrel. The top or the back of the frame, behind the breechbolt, has a small crack and because of this we do not recommend firing.
