| 20 GA; 95% blue, very good+ bore, very good+ stock, 26.5'' barrel, Manufactured circa 1880's by Ed. Girku of Kaufbeuren Bavaria. The re-blued barrel has a silver bead front sight, V-notch rear sight, gold and silver inlay. The right barrel is 10mm ??? Rifled, the left is 20 ga x 2 ½-inch chamber with straight groove rifling. The s/n is on bottom of barrel under forearm. The checkered forearm has a crack on right side from the key to the hinge pin. There is also a repair mat the right front as well as several small chips along top edge. The remaining metal has a beautiful floral and 5-animal engraving. Flip-up peep sight on upper tang. The face of the right hammer has some deforming. The left hammer appears to have been replaced. Checkered / engraved straight stock has repair on top left of wrist, raised cheek piece, bone finger rest and is fitted with a checkered steel trap door buttplate. Right side of butt has a filled gouge. ANTIQUE., s/n 36xxH |
