| fair bore, 29 5/16'' barrel, Believe this barrel to be from a Peruvian 1909 Mauser rifle, chambered for 7.65x54mm. Barrel is not serial numbered, stamped on the left side of the chamber "S.J.G.". Rear sight base for the standard GEW98 tangent sight. Threads have a few minor burrs, overall good. Vice marks around the chamber. Bore is fair, shows wear to the rifling and corrosion throughout, appears counterbored for about 1" at the muzzle. Worn blued finish with areas of pitting. |
