| Description: |
| Original WW2 scope and mount for the G/K 43 semi-automatic rifle. "dow" maker code, scope number 2515 and marked "Gw ZF 4". Mount is eagle/214 proofed and serial numbered 3203. Scope is complete with original leather lens cover, straps and wood plug. Original rubber eyecup. The late issue wooden scope can is serial numbered to the mount in black stenciled paint which is uncommon to find. Can is a late style with vinyl pull tab mounted on the lid. Inside the can is the original glass filter and sliding metal "rainshield" for the scope. Inside the lid is an ink stamped waffenampt 217. The optics are just a bit cloudy but serviceable and adjustments appear to function well., |
