| WW2 vintage dust/sand goggles, two pair packed in a cloth double pouch. Ink stamp on the inside of the pouch appears to be "BuB". No other marks seen. These have the clear lens. The Germans developed several types of goggles and protective eyewear for issue to troops, and inexpensive designs like these goggles were heavily used by troops in the North African campaign due to the sand and dust kicked up during storms and vehicle convoys. These are in un-issued condition, and would look great on display over an Afrika Korp pith or M35 helmet. Also includes are seven (7) bakelite plastic material poker chips with a swaztika symbol. These were possibly of pre-nazi era and used as a good luck symbol at the time? |
