| 1901 model with long 13 3/8 inch blade and "high neck" knights helmet WK&C logo. Etched blade in excellent condition, brass gold gilt guard and crown pommel, retains most of the gilt in the recesses and detail. The blade is etched for approximately 7.25 inches with excellent background frosting. Ivory handle is excellent with tight braided wire. Original officers portepee in very good condition. Original gold gilt brass scabbard with lightning bolt patterns is in very good condition, there is some darkness around the upper rope style suspension band and ring. Over all a very excellent example., |
