| 8mm Mauser; 95% blue, excellent bore, excellent stock, 20.75'' barrel, German "last ditch" rifle manufactured by Walther for issue to the Volkssturm during the last months of WW2. Original blued metal finish, beechwood halfstock. Marked on the left side of the receiver "V G 1 45 ac" followed by the serial number. Matching bolt, the cylindrical handle stamped with the last two digits of the serial "52". Bolt action rifle fed using the detachable G/K43 rifle 10-shot box magazine. Fixed post front sight with hood, fixed rear sight. Original web sling, unmarked and has a torn tab on the end with no provision to attach to the butt. Used, the thin metal buttplate has some rust pitting. Mechanically fine. C&R/FFL, s/n 42xx |
