| BLADE: Bright, etched "Alles Für Deutschland", Few nicks in blade edge, has been rusted and cleaned up (looks to be by a fine wire wheel by my guess), Some small and large pitting, dark spotting, drag marks from retention hardware, CROSS GRAIN: Visible in places, RICASSO: Etched "PAUL EBEL/SOLINGEN", CROSS GUARD: Dull nickel, misc. dents, scratches, Stamped "Om". HANDLE: Wood- Dark brown, has some chipping, a "Chip in progress" near cross guard and on pommel end as well, EAGLE INSIGNIA: good detail, light tarnishing, "SA" ROUNDEL: Brown enamel, very tiny chip inside the "A". POMMEL: Dull nickel, misc. dents, scratches, light patina. POMMEL NUT: Dull nickel, light patina. HEX EDGES: Very slight rounding. ROUND CAP: Nicks, Tool marks (Pliers or vice grips). Scabbard: SA, Throat fitting- Nickel plated zinc, rough surface misc. scratches, steel hanger ring. Body- Brown painted steel, Chape- Nickel plated zinc, rough surface, misc. scratches.
