| This model 1933 NSKK Dagger has the Heller Anchor logo makers mark on the blade "GEBRUDER HELLER / SCHMALKALDEN". Nice dark grey acid etched slogan "Alles fur Deutschland" motto. The blade is in Good condition having it's share of drag marks and scattered minor spotting. There is some loss of finish at the tip of the blade. The guard and pommel fit the handle well, both dulled evenly with age. The wooden handle is in very good condition having a few minor dings, no chipping at the guard or pommel, fit is excellent. The inset detailed eagle is in very good condition as is enameled inset SA button near the pommel. Original black finished scabbard is in good condition, having a rather minor dent on one side approx 3 1/4 inch from the tip. The black finish on the scabbard has some wrinkling and roughness overall. Dulling nickeled chape and tip with the original screws in place. The ball tip is undamaged. The scabbard / crossguard fit is good. |
