| Manufactured during WW1 as a substitute for the standard issue bayonets, many variations of the Ersatz bayonet exist. Unmarked except for Imperial proofs on top of the 12 3/8 inch blade with another proof on the right side of the ricasso. Complete with the original steel scabbard. The blade is in very good condition showing some light spotting. The handle and scabbard have traces of the original gray/green paint which was applied. The catch works fine. Overall good original condition., |
