| 99% blue, excellent grips, 10'' barrel, Manufactured in 1939 by P. WEYERSBERG. The bayonet and scabbard are S/N 4819 matching. has a serial number on the reverse side of the crossbar 4819. The top of the blade by the crossbar is stamped 39 for 1939. It has a 6 ½ inch blood grove on each side of the single edge blade. It has two Eagle / WaA 256 Insp proofs on the side of the pommel. And an Eagle / WaA 253 insp proof on the top of the grip frame. The bayonet is in excellent condition. The grips are in excellent condition also. The scabbard is numbers matching 4819 and has an insp mark on the ball at the end of the scabbard. The scabbards finish is thinning and worn. The black leather frog is in good condition with mild creasing. It has a faint maker's mark L.L.C. / HURTGEN / 1942, s/n 48xx |
