| very good grips, Very good condition German Prussian Model 1873 cavalry/artillery saber that is complete with correct original scabbard. Sword is maker marked GEBR WEYERSBERG / SOLINGEN on the left blade Ricasso. Dated 1879 on the spine. Sword (left side of guard) and scabbard have matching unit markings-"19 T.F. 1.23 for issue to the 19th Train Battalion Infantry Munitions Column The blade has original bright finish., in very good condition. Still has original leather washer at the base. Remaining metal finish in good condition. Leather grip shows some mild wear. Steel scabbard has brown patina with a few dents. A hard to find Prussian artillery sword with matching unit markings, s/n 23 |
