| 8mm Mauser; 70% blue, Good bore, good stock, 24'' barrel, Produced in Hungary for the German forces and based on the Hungarian Model 43M Mannlicher bolt action rifle. Original blue finish and walnut stock. The top of the chamber is stamped eagle/swaz/173 over jhv with the date code 43. The left side of the barrel and reciever are stamped with eagle/swaz military acceptance marks. The bottom of the stock butt is stamped jhv and a WaA173 proof is located on the bottom of the grip. All matching except the rear sight leaf. Includes the attached original leather sling, cleaning rod and front sight hood. The metal finish has thinned overall with scattered minor spotting. The wood has small dings and bruises overall. Mechanically fine. The bore has strong sharp rifling, showing some darkness and frost throughout. C&R/FFL, s/n 3xxy |
