| 8mm Mauser; 95% blue, fair bore, very good stock, 23.5'' barrel, Manufactured by Steyr and German Kriegsmarine proofed, original blued finish, laminated stock and handguard. Stamped on top of the receiver ring with the Steyr code "660" and date "1940". All numbered parts are matching including the trigger guard action screws, stock and handguard. Right side of receiver ring is marked with three eagle/WaA623 proofs. Right side of rear sight base is marked with two eagle/77 proofs. Small parts are marked with eagle/77 or eagle/WaA77 proofs. Right side of stock butt is stamped with two eagle/WaA623 proofs and the Kriegsmarine proof eagle/M. Small faint eagle/WaA623 proof on the bottom of the stock behind the trigger guard. Original front sight hood and cleaning rod. Original leather sling with no legible markings found in good condition. The bore shows some wear with strong rifling, having frost and light corrosion throughout. Mechanically fine. No import markings. C&R/FFL, s/n 18xxc |
