| The dagger features a 12-inch bright steel blade, marked, E&F HORSTER, on blade. Dark blue leather buffer is intact. The alloy cross guard featured a round, "sun wheel" type swastika, flanked by down swept, stylized "wings." The pommel was in the form of a vertical disc, with another, larger "sun wheel" swastika. The handle is constructed of dark blue leather with bands of brass wire wrap. Painted surfaces are mostly gone. Leather handle has light chaffing. Steel scabbard wrapped in dark blue leather has steel fittings with an alloy chain and GES. LESCH / OLC alloy spring clip. All mounting screws are present but one chape screw is loose. |
