| EICKHORN model nr 40. Fire Officer's sword with dove head pommel. Brass plain P-guard, cross guard and langets. There is an intact, leather, finger grabber that is installed beneath the ferrule and the cross guard. The grip is carved wood base, with black celluloid covering that has a split just below pommel and a couple of ribs. This grip is wrapped with triple twisted gilded brass wire. Blade is 32-inch un-sharpened nickel plate. Black enamel scabbard retains about 95% finish with minor scratches and light patina., |
