| 16 Ga/8x57mmJR; 60% blue, good bore, fair stock, 26.75'' barrel, Manufactured in Germany, dated March 1936. Original blue finish barrels, casehardened frame, mounted in checkered walnut. 2 9/16 inch chambers with Full chokes. Fixed front and fold down rear sights. Double claw mounts with a Geco 6X scope mounted. The scope has a heavy pointer/crossbar reticle with excellent optics. The scope tube has been painted black. Includes leather lens covers. Boxlock action with crossbolt, side mounted rotating cocking indicators, top mounted rifle barrel cocking indicator, front set double triggers with undamaged bone trigger guard, Greener type side safety, latch release forearm, full grip stock with cheekrest and a 14.25 inch LOP, bone wide buttplate fitted. This gun has several cosmetic issues with areas of pitting on the barrels. The forearm has an internal crack and is missing the ebony tip. The stock has small cracks and chips behind the frame and a small crack behind the upper tang, and the stock is a bit loose. The action works fine and barrel lockup is tight. The rifle bore has strong rifling but is a bit dark. Includes the attached hunting sling. C&R/FFL, s/n 106xx |
