| Emil Voos manufacture, stamped with the company name and logo on the ricasso. 7 7/8 inch etched bright plated blade, fitted with checkered black plastic grips with an eagles head pommel. The left side of the blade is etched with the eagle/swaztika over "Fur Crinnerung an meine Dienstzeit". Complete with an original black painted steel scabbard and leather belt frog, which is maker marked and dated 1918. The red felt channel filler and leather guard bumper are present. The blade is excellent showing minor insertion wear. The handle area has a few minor dings however retains 99% of the plated finish. The scabbard shows some paint finish wear, mainly under the leather frog. The originality of this bayonet is questionable., |
