| This is an un-sharpened bright bladed sword with Carl Eickhorn mark. The side of the cross guard shows a set of crossed sabers with leafing on the side. This is an Imperial German Army sword. Issued to officers. High quality construction. The pommel is in the shape of a lion head with imitation ruby colored eyes. The spine is part of the meime and converts into leafing. The handle is made of black bakelite with 3 twisted wire wrapping. The scabbard is made of black painted metal with a single suspension ring and has minimal nicks and scratching. |
