| 44 Cal; Cased pair of percussion dueling pistols. Unknown maker. 44 Cal rifled Damascus barrels. Set triggers. Target adjustable sights. Numbered 1 & 2 in gold inlay. High quality with engraving and wood carvings. Locks have a safety mechanism for hammer which is German type. Markings under barrel are "CFM" and an "S" in a triangle. High quality wood case needs some restoration and is missing flask and key. Original mold, hammer, rod and patches are there. Pistol No 2 has had the hammer repaired and is missing the rear sight adjusting screw. It will also not hold on full cock.. Still a very high quality set which deserves some TLC., |
