| 8x50mmR; 90% blue, good bore, very good stock, 18'' barrel, This is a MLE 1890 manufactured at the d'Armes de Chatellerault arsenal with receiver, barrel, and bolt matching. The barrel ring is marked, ‘s/n, encircled L, encircled C, JH’, and ‘ MA C1891’. Trigger guard is marked, ‘FX 60 ARA’. It is a 1915 arsenal rebuild using a modified rifle stock. Metal has scattered light patina / freckling. The bore has a frost with dark groove. Brass tipped steel cleaning rod and leather sling are present., s/n A191xx |
