THESE WERE RIMFIRE CONVERSIONS FROM THE SMLE SERVICE RIFLE AND USED FOR TRAINING. THIS EXAMPLE HAS MATCHING NUMBERS AND IS IN NICE CONDITION. THE BLUING IS EVEN THROUGHOUT. THE BORE IS MIRROR BRIGHT WITH VERY GOOD RIFLING. THE BUTTSTOCK HAS AN ARSENAL REPAIR IN THE HEEL AND APPEARS TO BE A NORMAL LENGTH BUTT. THE FORESTOCK BEARS A VALLEY SIGHT PLATE AND JUST HAS A COMPRESSION DENT IN THE RIGHT SIDE BY THE CHARGER BRIDGE. THE HANDGUARDS ARE EXCELLENT. COMES WITH A SLING., s/n A51xx |
