| 303 British; 96% blue, excellent bore, good stock, 17'' barrel, ENFIELD NO4 MKI RIFLE MADE AT ROF FAZACKERLY IN 1941, REINSPECTED IN 1946. THE RIFLE WAS CUT DOWN BY THE IMPORTER DESTROYING ANY COLLECTOR VALUE BUT TURNING IT INTO A HANDY CARBINE. THE RIFLE HAS A MATCHING BOLT. THE FINISH SHOWS LIGHT WEAR ON THE TRIGGER GUARD AND MAGAZINE. THE BORE IS MIRROR BRIGHT WITH EXCELLENT 2 GROOVE RIFLING. THE STOCK, FOREARM AND HANDGUARD ARE SOLID SHOWING LIGHT DINGS AND HANDLING MARKS. THE STOCK HAS THE NORMAL LENGTH BUTT., s/n 244xxA |
