| Description: |
| 577/450; fair bore, good stock, 21.5'' barrel, Kyber pass copy of a Martini Henry carbine, chambered for the 577/450 MH cartridge. Bright metal. Fairly well made copy with replicated British markings and proofs. Wooden stock is not marked. Tip of cleaning rod is broken off. Fixed front sight, rar ladder sight with no legible graduations. Wooden patch repairs on top of the stock behind the action. The bore is fair-good, has shine with corrosion in the grooves. Mechanically unsafe and needs work. Action functions, however after cocking within a few seconds and at times immediately the hammer drops. Includes capture papers dated 2008 from the 82nd Airborne at Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan. |
