| 12 Ga/6X58mmR; 75% blue, fair bore, good stock, 28.75'' barrel, EMIL KERNER COMBINATION SHOTGUN RIFLE IN FAIR/GOOD OVERALL CONDITION MADE IN JULY 1924. THE RIGHT SHOTGUN BARREL APPEARS TO HAVE A REPAIR AT THE BREECH. THE RIFLE CALIBER COULD NOT BE IDENTIFIED BUT IS WE BELIEVE SOME 6.5MM. THE BLUING SHOWS MODERATE WEAR ON THE BARRELS ALONG WITH FRECKLING. THE LIGHTLY ENGRAVED RECEIVER SHOWS JUST REMNANTS OF ITS CASE COLORS. THE SHOTGUN BORES SHOW LIGHT CORROSION AND PITTING.THE RIFLE BARREL IS SEMI BRIGHT WITH DEFINED BUT WORN RIFLING BUT ALSO SHOWING OXIDATION. THE SMOOTH BUTTSTOCK IS SOLID WITH A CARTIDGE TRAP IN THE UNDERSIDE WITH A PACHMAYR RUBBER RECOIL PAD ADDED. THE SMOOTH FOREARM SHOWS MODERATE WEAR. IMPORT MARKED., s/n S142xx |
