| 16 Gauge; poor bore, fair stock, 30.5'' barrel, Manufactured in Germany circa 1880s. Browned finish Damascus barrels, casehardened frame and locks, mounted in checkered walnut. Underlever barrel break. Frame and locks with floral leaf and game scene engraving. 2 1/2 inch chambers, Cylinder chokes, the barrels have been shortened. Bone grip extension and underlever. 14 inch Lop with original heel and toe plates present. The stock is cracked around the top of the grip. Small dent on the side of the left barrel about 2 inches from the muzzle. Old slivers of missing wood on the upper edges of the forearm. Mechanically fine with good barrel lockup. The bores have areas of heavy pitting. Antique, s/n 45xx |
