| 9x19mm; 90% blue, 10% straw, good bore, good grips, 7 7/8'' barrel, Original blued finish, strawed small parts and matching serial number checkered walnut grips. Matching except the magazine. Fine tune front and rear sights. DWM monogram on top of center toggle. 1917 date over the chamber. Standard Imperial proof and military acceptance mark on the right side of the receiver. Both grip panels have a number 9 carved near the bottom. The bottom of the barrel is stamped with British "tons" export markings. Metal finish shows some wear and handling, with light surface spotting overall. Mechanically in fine condition. The bore has strong rifling, having a bit of light corrosion in the grooves. Included with this Artillery Luger is a custom made clamshell style holster stock acquired in Switzerland. The stock is very well made of beechwood, having a hinged spine, revealing a fitted interior for an Artillery model Luger. A securing knob is located at the attachment point for the stock lug. A latch assembly consists of the push button design with ball bearings which snap into a circular plate on the inside of the stock. A pistol fits inside the stock best without a magazine in the gun, however does need some additional fitting to be perfect. A very interesting concept with a lot of time spent to produce.
