| 30 Luger; 20% straw, good bore, good grips, 3.75'' barrel, In Finland these pistols purchased from DWM were known as the M/23, and were the standard commercial models being produced in Germany in the early 1920's. Many were private purchases by Army personnel and the Civil Guard units. Original blued finish, strawed small parts and checkered walnut grips. The breechbolt and firing pin are non-matching. The takedown lever is overstamped to match. And the rear toggle has been ground with touched up finish. Front sight is a square blade replacement and the rear sight has been altered to a square notch. Unmarked wood base magazine. DWM monogram on top of the center toggle. Commercial German crown/N proofs. The metal finish shows wear to edges and high points with some thinning on the barrel. The grip panels show some wear with the left panel having a chip of wood missing under the safety lever. Mechanically fine with a frosted bore. Includes a private purchase leather full flap holster which is unmarked, in Good condition. Upstrap with a reinforced tip, button closure., s/n 80xxr, Catalog Number D-702 |
