| 30 Luger; 97% blue, 90% straw, excellent bore, excellent grips, 3.75'' barrel, Original blue finish, strawed small parts and checkered walnut grips. Numbered parts are matching. Plated sheet steel magazine with aluminum base un-numbered. DWM monogram on top of toggle. American Eagle motif on top of the chamber. Crown/N proofed. "SAFE" marked toggle housing. "LOADED" marked extractor. Right side of receiver marked with the "GERMANY" export marking and "A.F. Stoeger Inc/NEW YORK.". The right side frame rail is marked "LUGER-REGISTERED U.S. PATENT OFFICE.". Metal finish shows minor sharp edge wear. Mechanically fine. Rig, includes an original period military style leather holster in excellent condition. The holster is ink stamped on the back "GERMANY" and under the flap with a boxed "BAXVII". C&R/FFL These late "V" suffix Mauser assembled Stoegerss are the most desireable Stoeger Lugers in our opinion. They have more Stoeger features than earlier examples and are better quality fit and finish. This is one of the best condition examples we have seen., s/n 4xxv, Catalog Number D-289 |
