| 30 cal; 97% blue, 80% straw, excellent bore, excellent grips, excellent stock, 12'' barrel, with original 1920 stock with steel buttplate. Crown N proofs. Serial number 1 on frame, receiver and barrel. Other small parts are differently numbered or un-numbered as these always had two sets of numbers originally. The first 1920 carbine made, an exceptional rarity! This gun is crudely made as compared to an 02 Carbine. The quality of the finish is not as fine however this is the way they were produced. 1920 Carbines were mostly 'parts' guns made using surplus military and commercial new and old parts in store., s/n 1, Catalog Number D-198 |
