| 9x19mm; 85% blue, 60% straw, fair bore, good grips, 4'' barrel, Scarce 1st issue M1908 Military Luger pistol with original blued finish, strawed small parts and checkered walnut grips. Matching serial numbers except the magazine. Magazine is serial numbered 6729b/+ on the wood base. DWM monogram on top of the center toggle. 1910 date over the chamber. The right side of the receiver (barrel extension) is stamped with two Imperial proofs and the Military acceptance mark. Another acceptance mark is stamped over the top of the barrel. This example is also unit marked on the front grip strap to a Machine Gun unit "127.R2M.G.61.". The metal finish has worn and aged fairly evenly with edge and high point wear on the expected areas. There is some light surface spotting with a line of corrosion along the right frame above the grip panel. Mechanically fine. The bore shows corrosion with worn but strong rifling., s/n 76xxc, Catalog Number D-215 |
