| Description: |
| 30 Luger; 98% blue, 98% straw, mint bore, mint grips, mint stock, 12'' barrel, 1901-1903 manufactured Luger Chilean type carbine with all matching SNs, featuring GL presentation 2/4/6-position Chilean type tangent adjustable rear sight, crown N proofs, gold inlayed initials-"KW", with George Luger's initials on the rear toggle. One of the rarest and most distinctive prototype, tangent rear sight Lugers are the circa 1901-1903, 1-3-5 position tangent rear sight Luger Hunting Carbines and the 100xx subject 2-4-6 position tangent Chilean type. These are the first Lugers to accept a push-button shoulder stock and one of the first carbines. Only a few (maybe 5 pieces) are known to have survived. This new position of a 6-position tangent rear sight Chilean type carbine is one of the most exciting and interesting Lugers we have seen. See www.landofborchardt.com for information on similar Lugers, as only one other is known with C/N proofs indicating DWM tool room pre-ww1. All numbered parts matching. CN proof barrel. Condition is easy 98% overall. Pictures share the quality condition of this Carbine., s/n 100xx |
