| Extremely rare and exceptional Dutch 1905 1st pattern trials holster (Type A) for the Luger pistols. Original dark brown leather with the small pouches on th front for a takedown tool and pin punch. Brass fittings. 45 degree angled single wide belt loop on the back. Missing the internal pull strap which appear to have been deliberately removed. The back of the holster is stamped with an F in the upper front corner. Below the loop is stamped "o5/Ko/B" indicating a 1905 date, with Ko and B inspector initials. This holster is featured in the book "The Borchardt & Luger Automatic Pistols" by Joachim Gortz and Dr. Geoffrey Sturgess on page 1200, and was part of Dr. Sturgess's collection. Condition: Excellent. Some normal age wear and handling with nice age patina on the brass fittings., |
