| 95% blue, excellent grips, Czech. Army used the V-Z24 on the Mauser. This is an unmodified as it still has the muzzle ring. When the Germans overrun the Czech’s, they modified large numbers of bayonets by removing the muzzle ring, for use with there own Mauser rifles. The blade is 11 ½ inches long, with and 8 ½ inch blood groove. The reverse of the Ricasso stamped with a Z inside of a circle The obverse is blank. The metal finish on the blade, crosspiece and pommel are in excellent near mint condition. The hardwood grips are in near mint condition. The scabbard is blued steel with very mild handling marks. It retains its original finish that is very good the frog stud is stamped with a Z within a circle over the letter M. Overall, this bayonet and scabbard are in excellent condition, |
