| 45 Colt; good bore, fair grips, 5 1/2'' barrel, Manufactured in 1891. Original factory nickle finish, showing only traces of finish. Original hard rubber eagle grips. Single line Colt's address on top of the barrel. Patent dates 1871 and 1875 in two lines on the left side of the frame followed by the circles Rampant Colt logo. Matching serial numbers. Scattered minor pitting, mainly on the cylinder, front and left side of the frame. The grips are worn with three small notches cut on the bottom edge of the right panel. Mechanically fine with a good action. Includes an original factory letter stating the gun was shipped February 12 1892 to H&D Folsom Arms Co. in New Orleans Louisiana. Antique, s/n 1430xx |
