| Description: |
| .45LC; excellent+ bore, excellent+ grips, 7 1/2'' barrel, Complete with provenance from last sale in 1973 and also including factory letter from Colt's Manufacturing Company Historian- documenting that this SAA was made in 1882 and delivered that same year to the U.S. Government Inspector- who at that time period, was located at the Colt plant. The included original US marked black holster is in excellent condition, all stitching and rivets are solidly intact. Interesting is that the number "75" has been long ago stamped on this holster- 6 times. The wood grips are in excellent+ condition, with strong cartouches of David F Clark and John E Greer and the 1882 date. The gunmetal retains generous amounts of the original finish, as well as an excellent bore and all matching numbers. All markings are clear. With perfect cylinder timing, all mechanicals function just fine. Upon close inspection, we observe that the screws are not buggered up and further- this historical revolver definitely appears NOT MESSED WITH. Call us on this oneā¦, s/n 828xx |
