| 455 Caliber; 70% blue, very good bore, good grips, 7.5'' barrel, Colt's New Service Target manufactured in 1914 with remains of the original bright blued finish. Original checkered walnut grips with matching numbers on each. Fixed front sight, flat top frame with drift adjustable rear sight blade. Checkered trigger face. Checkered grip straps. British proofed. Metal finish is thinning overall with light spotting. Most finish worn from the grip frame. Crisp markings, stamped on top of the barrel with the Colt's address and patent dates 1884, 1900 and 1905 in two lines. Caliber designation on the left side of the barrel "NEW SERVICE 455 ELEY". Rampant Colt logo on the left side of the frame. Action is mechanically fine and in time. Bore is bright, shows use. Our import mark., s/n 676xx |
