| 45 ACP; 60% blue, fair bore, very good grips, 5'' barrel, This is a very nice example of a rare Colt Government Model "Russian" contract semi-automatic pistol with Colt letter. The left side of the slide has the two-line markings of "PATENTED APR. 20.1897. SEPT.9.1902, DEC. 19. 1905. FEB.14.1911. AUG 19.1913" followed by "COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG. CO./HARTFORD CT. U.S.A." with the Rampant Colt behind the rear of the slide serrations. The right side of slide is marked "COLT AUTOMATIC/CALIBRE 45", and the right side of frame is marked "GOVERNMENT MODEL/C-42643”. It is fitted with a set of checkered walnut grips and has a very good+ dual tone loop magazine. Moderate overall edge wear while grip straps and grip safety are gray. Bore has moderate wear with oxidation. Import marked with a factory letter., s/n C426xx |
