| 38 Caliber; 20% blue, very good bore, good stock, 24'' barrel, Manufactured in 1894 This Colt Lightning magazine repeating pump action rifle in .38-40 caliber, serial number 72816. The metal surfaces have scattered dark spots and thinning overall. The bore is mirror bright and in very good condition. The left side of the receiver has a faint Colt Stallion. The S/N 72816 is on the lower tang. The top of the barrel has .38 Cal. And the Colt two-line address and patent info. The walnut stock has a crack off the lower tang and the right side of the buttstock initials CH scratched on the stock. The action works ANTIQUE., s/n 728xx |
