| 45 ACP; 92% blue, excellent bore, very good grips, 5'' barrel, Colt commercial Government Model manufactured in 1961. R.L. Shockey custom with original blue finish, fitted with checkered walnut grips. This pistol retains a majority of the original factory parts including the barrel. The arched grooved mainspring housing is a probable replacement. The slide is fitted with an extended front sight rib and a BoMar fully adjustable rear sight is mounted on the back of the slide. A Shockey heavy barrel bushing is installed. The front grip frame strap is stippled and a trigger shoe is installed. The bottom of the frame is fitted with an R.L. Shockey marked weight assembly. Includes two magazines both showing some hand filing work done on the sides, with stickers on the baes marked BALL 1 and BALL 2. Used, showing some finish wear and handling. Mechanically fine. C&R/FFL, s/n 2893xx-C |
