| 45 ACP; 92% blue, very good bore, very good grips, 5'' barrel, Commercial pistol manufactured in 1919. Original blue finish and checkered walnut double diamond grips. Complete with an original two-tone finish magazine. Stamped on the left side of the slide with the two-line two-block patent dates 1897-1913 and Colt's address flanking the Rampant Colt logo. The right side of the frame is stamped GOVERNMENT MODEL over the serial number. This pistol is original parts correct. The metal finish shows some light sharp edge wear, with thinning on the grip frame straps and some minor spotting. There are scattered small areas of some minor surface spotting mainly on the slide, and some scartches over the top left side of the slide in the areas above the Colt's address block, as well as the tell tale scratch from improper assembly below the slide catch. Mechanically fine, the bore has sharp rifling, showing light frost throughout. C&R/FFL, s/n C1179xx |
