| 45 ACP; 94% blue, excellent bore, very good grips, 5.5'' barrel, Original brushed blue finish and plain walnut grips. Matching frame and crane numbers. U.S. inspector marked JMG at the left upper rear corner of the frame. Stamped on top of the barrel with the Colt's address and patent dates 1884, 1900 and 1905 in two lines. The bottom of the barrel is stamped "UNITED STATES PROPERTY". Rampant Colt logo located on the left side of the frame plate. The butt of the grip frame is stamped "U.S./ARMY/MODEL/1917". The bottoms of both grip panels are inspector marked "RAC". The metal finish shows sharp edge wear on the frame and cylinder with some thinning finish on the frame. Thinned finish on the grip frame straps. Grips have a few minor dings. Mechanically in perfect condition with a bright sharp bore., s/n 480xx |
