| 45 ACP; 95% blue, very good bore, very good grips, 5'' barrel, Manufactured in 1917. Bright original blued finish. Original checkered walnut grips. Original and proper variation two-tone finish magazine. Standard Colt's two line two block patent dates and Colt's address slide markings on the left side. GHS inspector marking on the left side of the frame near the grip and marked on the frame extension "UNITED STATES PROPERTY". The right side of the slide is stamped "MODEL OF 1911 U.S. ARMY". Pistol is original parts correct. The blue remains bright on this pistol and the grips show fairly minor wear. The only issues are areas of spotting, mainly low on the front grip strap and the lower edge of the right side frame extension. A small area on the right side of the slide just forward of the ejection port, and some small spots on the left side of the slide at the muzzle. The pistol shows very little cycling wear, the bore is sharp and clean. Includes an original M1916 leather holster manufactured by Sears and dated 1917 in Good condition, however the internal pad has been removed. Personalized with small letters "EDC" stamped on front of the flap under the embossed US, andink written inside the flap with large "EDC JR". Also hand written along the upper front edge under the flap "Colr Sgt. Cunningham"., s/n 1977xx |
