| 45 ACP; 85% parkerized, very good bore, excellent grips, 5'' barrel, Manufactured in 1942 by Colt and chambered for .45 ACP, it is a Model 1911 A1. The right-side frame has UNITED STATES PROPERTY M1911 A1 U.S. ARMY / S/N 786598. The left slide has Colts two-line address and patent info, The front sight is a blade, and the rear is a U notch. It has a matching slide, and the barrel is correct WWII. The metal finish has mild muzzle and high edge wear (Holster wear) and some thinning. It has Colt early Dish Back grips with small reinforcing rings. The web belt is marked NASCO 1942 belt. It has two BOYLE / 1942 magazine pouches with correct marked magazines. It has a CARLISLE MODEL FIRST AID KIT, marked AMERICAN AWNING & VENETIAN BLIND COMPANY / 1942. The brown leather flap holster has US embossed on the flap. It has a makers mark SEARS /1942 The holster has intact stitching, and the finish has mild handling marks, Overall, in very good original condition., s/n 7865xx |
